Dr. David Prevatt is an associate professor in the Department of Civil and Coastal Engineering at the University of Florida focuses his research on the mitigation of extreme wind damage to low-rise construction and particularly the performance of existing residential structures. Shelby Hays is a graduating senior at OU in Norman, studying meteorology. She interned for Gary England for 2 years and for a summer at WKRN in Nashville. She starts at KFSM in Fort Smith, AR, on Thursday. She is a Student Member of the AMS Broadcast Board and was the Media Coordinator for the National Weather Festival in Norman, OK.
