Tonight's Guest WeatherBrain is a Professor of Communications in the Department of Communications Studies at the University of California at Pennsylvania. She is one of the leaders in the field of study communicating the weather. Dr. Susan Jasko, welcome to WeatherBrains.  Dr. Jasko taught at several institutions, including Ohio University, Nassau Community College, and Montclair State University before coming to Cal U in 1998. She is the founding president of the New Jersey Communication Association, a past president and officer of the New York State Communication Association, and a frequent unit planner for the Eastern Communication Association. She has been a basic course director, graduate program coordinator, and a department chair. She has served as an assistant to several deans of the College of Liberal Arts. She has served on and chaired numerous committees and regularly presents her work at the National Communication Association conventions. She is on the editorial board of two journals, has published articles, and is the co-author of one book. She has received the Neil Postman Mentoring Award.
