Our Guest WeatherBrain was the first African-American female to receive an undergraduate degree in Meteorology from Iowa State University, and she entered NOAA as an operational meteorologist at the Des Moines Weather Forecast Office. She's held many positions over her 27 year career in federal government including 13 years as an operational hydrologist and operational meteorologist with the National Weather service. Dr. Kandis Boyd, welcome back to the show! Also joining us as Guest Panelist is TV meteorologist at Action New 5 in Memphis. He started his career at KAIT in Jonesboro, Arkansas, which is a sister station of Action News 5. Spencer came to Memphis from WAAY-TV in Huntsville, Alabama where he was the chief meteorologist. Prior to that, he worked at the CBS station in Huntsville as a weekend and morning meteorologist. Spencer Denton, welcome!
